Technology
Our Junior School classes have access to College iPads and interactive white boards ensuring our girls are engaged in their learning, collaborate and are prepared for a future of technological advances and innovation.
Class sets of iPads are used in early years, with students taking responsibility of their own iPads at Stage 3. Teachers integrate technology naturally in classroom activities to consolidate and extend curricular learning.
Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K)
At PLC Armidale, we base Early Childhood education on the Reggio Emilia approach, actively involving girls in their own learning through play-based experiences. Outdoor games, sport, dance, gymnastics and learn to swim programs build on our students’ natural curiosity and love of movement to develop their gross motor skills.
PLC girls’ creativity and character is also nurtured through Music, French, Performing Arts, Christian Studies and a wide range of arts and crafts. Every student’s progress is followed and documented by our specialist Reggio Emilia educators.
